Brandon and I first met in 2004 in Bozeman , Montana. I went up to Montana to visit with my sister and Brother n Law. Brandon worked with my brother n law and we met the first night I got to Bozeman. My sister had told me a lot about Brandon so I was excited to meet him and the same for him. Later that night when Brandon got off work he went to my sisters house cause he was really good friends with her husband. We didn’t talk much that night. A couple days later Brandon went with me and my family to go to the movies. This was supposed to be my last night in Bozeman . After the movie while getting out of the car Brandon told me, “Hey come visit me some time.” That was enough to melt my heart. I quickly decided I needed to stay a little longer to get to know this guy a little better. So I extended my plane ticket for 3 more days. Those were the 3 days that changed the rest of our lives. We quickly fell in love over those 3 days and were very sad when I had to head back to Arizona .
We continued to date long distance for the next 5 months. Although we hated being apart we enjoyed that we were able to get to know each other through hours of talking on the phone everyday without any of the physical emotions getting in the way. It was a happy day when Brandon finally moved to Arizona in May. We continued enjoying going out on dates to the movies, and bowling and spending fun time with family.
Brandon proposed on the 4th of July under the massive fire work show. It was very romantic and very exciting. He was very nervous and glad when it was over. I had a feeling it was coming all night and was excited when he finally asked. We spent the next 3 months planning the perfect wedding. Although we only knew each other for 10 months before getting married we had no doubt that we were making the right decision. We are each others best friends and couldn’t wait to spend forever together. We were married on Oct. 9, 2004 in the Mesa Arizona Temple.
